Comments column on the right of a Word document

Hello,

I was writing a regular letter in Word. By mistake, I must have pressed something on my keyboard and a comments column opened up on the right, as if I had suggested a change to my text.
Problem: I can't get rid of this column.
Could someone kindly help me?

If this is a comment made by mistake, it just needs to be deleted:
Review tab, Comments group => Delete => delete all comments from the document
