Hello everyone,
I have a small network issue that I can't resolve. Here it is, I have a LAN socket in my living room and when I connect my box (Freebox Revolution) directly, I can access files on my TV (Samsung) using the TV's media center. I decided to double the socket using an Ethernet + telephone splitter to avoid cable clutter. The box syncs well, and the TV detects the 10/100 Mbps network (yellow and orange lights flashing on the TV). The problem is that the TV no longer detects the box. The splitter is a Gigamedia GGM C2XFTRET. I'm a bit lost, could you help me please? Thank you.

    Hi,
    the splitters are used in pairs, one at each end of the cable.
    Where exactly is your box?
    What did you put in the communication cabinet?
    If your box is near the TV, why don't you connect the TV directly to the box?

      Good evening, indeed I didn't mention it, but I do have one pair, one in my living room and another in the patch panel (with a switch). My TV in the living room is connected to my box (which serves as a switch and NAS). The TV in question is the one in my bedroom. It is connected to an RJ45 socket that is patched in the cabinet in my garage.

      so you have a switch at the patch panel?
      What does that have to do with your TV then? I don't understand this part of your problem.
      An Ethernet/phone splitter at the patch panel, the phone cable to the master filter or the DTI, and the Ethernet cable to the switch, okay, the other ports of the switch at the patch panel, we agree?
      On the box side, another splitter, the ADSL socket of the box to the phone output of the splitter and one of the Ethernet ports to the Ethernet output, we still agree?
      Can you try a PC instead of the TV?

      Good evening, so I just tried with a PS4 but unfortunately without success. I no longer have a PC, I only have a Mac with Wi-Fi. I have attached a sketch of my connection which is more illustrative.

      Yes, that's exactly what I thought and described earlier.
      If you have a laptop, try it directly on the switch instead of the TV.
      Do you have the lights on the Ethernet port from the switch to the box and on the box side as well?

      Unfortunately, no PC, but on the PS4 there is no possibility to obtain an IP address. Check the connection between the TV and PS4 to the switch => Positive (indicator lights behind each device and on the switch). However, there is indeed no indicator light behind the box and on the switch. I don't understand why I don't have this connection. Any advice Brupala?
