Hello*

I want to buy a car and the owner suggested paying with a PCS voucher. Is that normal or not? He asked for the code?

Thank you

    Hello
    I had the experience today.
The car owner is abroad. We agreed by email on the price and payment terms. The car is supposed to be delivered to my home so that I can try it out. And at the last moment, the carrier changes the payment method to PCS cards. When I tell him that I don't agree, he hangs up on me.
    Beware of scams.

Anyway, selling a car to someone who is "away" or "abroad" is always suspicious.
Ask yourself a simple question: would you do it? No, for a bunch of reasons, trust, practicality, legal issues, etc.
      You just need to think.

And no, this is not normal at all.

What is normal is to come on-site to see the vehicle, pay, you provide an invoice, and only then, leave with the vehicle.

Any other way of proceeding is a scam.

      Hello everyone

Be very careful because he is asking for 100 € for the
full tank of gas. He tells you to go to the tobacco shop to get pcs

And he tells you he will come around 4 PM
You check the car registration and that it will be insured until you get home and you give me the rest in cash
      But I understood their trick

The transaction will be done with a friend of mine who is a judicial police officer

And he replied yes no problem everything is in order
But he insisted that I hand him the 100 euros in pcs

If he takes 100 euros from everyone
Know that we only pay for the photo of the car
      These are stolen cars
In the jargon of 'merguez cars'
      Be very careful everyone????

In this kind of mess, no one ever shows up! The scam is ELSEWHERE.. No need to move the Major General with his troops..

    HELLO

    SCAM..

The scammer asks you for the code to pocket the amount of the voucher. The car is of the 'ghost' type..

NEVER use these PCS, NeoSurf coupons and other garbage intended to recharge prepaid anonymous cards favored by scammers.

Incidentally, a car should be seen and tested BEFORE purchase..

    Hello,

As the various participants in the forum are not machines, but real human beings acting voluntarily, a few polite words are always welcome.

A sentence starting with hello and ending with thank you in advance is more likely to receive a prompt and quality response.

An essential piece of advice >>>HERE<<<!

    Thank you for your understanding.
