Poor printing, Brother DCP-9020w

Hello,

I have a big issue with my printer.

After trying all the tips provided by Brother to improve print quality, nothing works. I’ve replaced all my cartridges with new ones, but the problem persists.

Here’s what the print looks like when I print the Brother test diagram:

There are white lines everywhere on the page (horizontal, vertical) and the ink intensity is inconsistent across the entire sheet.

Does anyone know where this problem could come from?

Thanks in advance.

Try using a high-quality laser paper (not the laser/inkjet compatible ones)
Set the print resolution to its maximum (by default, I think it stays in basic mode to save toner)

And unfortunately, don't expect to make nice image prints with this kind of printer; it's more of a business printer for companies.
