Hello

In the news, there is always talk about what is being said on social media
My question is how we can read what is being said
Do we have to
1 be a member of the social network
2 build a web of friends on that network

Hello, for security reasons it is mandatory to create an account on a social network. That’s why there are many "fake" accounts. Additionally, you are by no means required to have friends.

      Thank you
In my case, I am registered on "facebook" and I have 2 "friends"
Apart from their last vacation photos, I have nothing else except a list of suggested new "friends"
I don't see where to find, for example, what is being said about the "yellow vests" movement

I see what you mean: on Facebook, there are several things to know. You can have friends, but you can also like or subscribe to pages/groups.
In the search bar, you need to look for news outlets like Le Monde, Le Parisien... or TV channels like TF1... you go to these pages and it won’t propose you a friend request, but rather to like and subscribe. This way, in your news feed, you will see the news...
Then, to know the names of these pages, either you know what you want, or you can ask Google for a bit of help to find the most popular pages in the areas you are looking for.

      Thank you
Yes, I have seen the "search" menu where I can find all the newspaper articles related to the topic
However, I still do not see the various comments from internet users and how I can edit mine.

Under an article, you click on the comments and you will see the comments from internet users. To edit a message, just click to the left of your comment where there will be a small arrow with "edit."
