Hello,
Probably a false positive.
You should uninstall Avast! in favor of Windows Defender, which is less intrusive.

Hello
I have the same problem since Saturday, November 3rd.
Please avoid the response style of "change your antivirus"!
We are really looking for help.
Thank you in advance to those who can get us out of this issue; even running the Avast scan hasn't improved anything.
Fortunately, Internet Explorer is still working!
Good evening everyone.-
Update the viral definitions of Avast!
If this continues, add the detected address Static-spartan-neu-s-msn-com.akamaized.net to the exceptions, see: https://www.malekal.com/ajouter-exception-avast/

Hello, I have the same problem with the same antivirus. Ever since I went to a sketchy site to watch the movie "Demolition Man," I have this link considered as phishing by Avast that tries to launch every time I start Edge:
static-spartan-neu-s-msn-com.akamaized.net
Scan with Avast yielded no results, CCleaner doesn’t see it either, and neither does SpyHunter5.
What bothers me is that it appears at every launch of Edge, with no consequences for me, but on my partner's side, who has Norton, there hasn’t been a single alert... And a noticeable slowdown in the quality of her connection. (We both have DDL Diablo3 on Battle.net over Wi-Fi at home one after the other; I was at 55MB/s and she was at 2MB/s with exactly the same PC…)
In short, this link doesn’t seem like an error from Avast. -
Hello everyone
I solved the problem this way:
In Edge, I set the startup page to "orange.fr" (for me)
and no more problems, Edge opens on this page and I can access all sites.
Certainly fewer features in Edge.
Best regards -
I have the same problem since my attempt to install W10 version 1809... could there be a connection? How can we prevent our data from being "akamized"?

All the elements are on the page with the answers.
It’s a detection error from Avast! (false positive)
So as a workaround:
- change the startup page of Edge to set another one, since Avast! mistakenly detects something malicious in it.
- remove Avast! for Windows Defender, fewer problems
- add the detected address to the exception list.
