Good evening,

For some time now, when I try to open an ISO file, my virtual drive starts up, then nothing happens, my Windows Explorer stops working (for a moment, then it restarts without the ISO being mounted).
I have tried with Daemon Tool Lite and Virtual CD Clone, but nothing seems to work. All of this with different ISO files.

Moreover, I wanted to uninstall Daemon Tool to install a newer version, but when I try to install the latest version, I get an error message saying: App is already started by another local user.
Yet, my PC only has one account, and that's the admin one...

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Good evening Djynn.

To begin with, restart your PC in order to uninstall Daemon Tools.
Next, regarding your ISO file, it may be corrupted if you are unable to open it.

If your issue is not resolved, feel free to reply.

Well, actually, I have already uninstalled Daemon Tools, restarted the computer, and attempted to reinstall it, but since then, I have the error that prevents me from installing it.

And as I said, I tried with several ISOs without success.

In that case, I advise you to rummage through the Windows folders (Program Files (x86 if specified), Program Data (show hidden folders)), and delete any trace of Daemon Tools.

Even after removing all traces of Daemon Tool, I'm still getting the error. Well, since Win8.1 supports ISO, this issue is no longer relevant. Thanks anyway for the help =)
