Hello everyone,

As mentioned in the title, I would like to transfer movies that I have downloaded from my Mac to an external hard drive that is formatted NTFS.

I have already read several articles on the subject, but they are all somewhat outdated and most of them boil down to formatting the hard drive, which I would like to avoid because there is a lot of stuff on it.

Also, the hard drive can very well be connected to my Mac as well as to a Windows PC or even to a television, so I would like to find a "universal" solution.

I would like to know if there are any other solutions that have been found today?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Good evening,

I would like to know if any other solutions have been found as of today?

Other solutions than what?

The 2 best current solutions:

- install Paragon NTFS on the Mac, not very expensive, and effective
https://www.paragon-software.com/fr/home/ntfs-mac/

or, install Mounty, a little less user-friendly than Paragon, but free
https://mounty.app

I had already explained a bit more about the subject here:
https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-26384378-transfert-de-donnees-mac-sur-disque-dur-externe#2

And I also wrote a page on this topic here:

Best of luck!

- Have a good day, good evening.. ;-)
