Hello everyone,
As part of a student project, I would like to have two AIs talk to each other. However, when I place two phones side by side and launch Google Assistant, the conversation quickly derails with an internet search. Basically, the AIs resort to fallback responses whenever they don’t understand something.
Do you know of any way to make two AIs communicate with each other? Like dedicated AIs solely for communication, or parameters that can be adjusted..
Thank you in advance for your responses!

Hello,
I don't really have an answer to your question regarding having two AIs talk to each other, but I can provide a clarification.
The AIs we all know (Google Assistant, Siri, Alexa) are just voice assistants. In this context, their goal is to answer a question as quickly as possible and they are not developed to hold a full conversation. It's quite logical that they go for the most direct approach to respond, even if it means dodging ^^.
I think for your project, you'll need to look for AIs developed independently (and set aside voice assistants), but it might be complicated.-

Thank you both for your responses! Jiantox, you have clarified the distinction between AI and voice assistant for me.
However, what I don’t understand is that two Google Home devices have already managed to talk for hours to each other (live on Twitch). Here’s the link: https://www.journaldugeek.com/2017/01/06/deux-google-home-discutent-sur-twitch-et-cest-deja-la-video-la-plus-drole-de-ce-debut-dannee/
Did they set any particular parameters? -

Indeed, and it is not impossible that there has been a reprogramming (it's even certain, judging by the discussion).
The logic of a voice assistant would suggest that it should not respond with "No you aren't."
Moreover (this is a question I have), isn't it mandatory to say "Ok Google" before each "command"?
It is still strange that the voice assistant responds, even though we may not be addressing it directly ^^
