Hello,
The lifespan of a machine does not depend on its brand but on its owner. A laptop needs maintenance just like a car. If you never do any checks, the engine will seize up.
It's the same for the computer! If you do maintenance and take care of it, you can keep it as long as it is maintained.
So if you want to keep it for a long time, protect it well with antivirus and anti-malware, keep the system and programs up to date, and every year, clean the fan and replace the thermal paste. Keep your PC away from all liquids and don't eat over it. Be very careful with it and you’ll keep it for 10 years.
In the meantime, of course, there will likely be wear parts to replace, such as the hard drive (mechanical) and the battery. But not before 5 years for the hard drive (mechanical). The battery, on the other hand, generally has a lifespan of about 2 to 3 years.
