I want to buy a used iPad or iPad Pro.
I have already checked stores like "cash converter" that guarantee the equipment for 3 months at a price higher than private sales. While reading the guarantees on various sites, I noticed that batteries are excluded from guarantees as well as many other things, which makes the warranty nearly worthless.
I am therefore looking to buy an iPad on LeBonCoin, but knowing that it’s a site where the “good family man” mingles with the crook.
What advice can you give me to ensure that the product is 100% functional, that it is not stolen, and that there won't be any hidden defects?
Here's a piece of advice I can do without: cash payment and hand delivery.

First of all, only make in-person purchases, preferably in a public space.
Moreover, make sure that the iPad is charged, turns on, is fully disconnected from the iCloud account (via the settings), and has been properly reset; otherwise, it will just be a brick afterwards.
Be sure to check the model to ensure it corresponds exactly to what is being sold to you, including the capacity.
You can also ask the person if they have the invoice, which adds another reason for the reliability of the purchase.
In some cases, it is possible to go to Apple Stores to verify the product... some do that.
