Impossible to chat with a messenger contact

Hello,

Since yesterday, I am unable to chat with one of my contacts on Messenger. We are both friends on Facebook and we haven’t blocked each other.
I had a message in the conversation saying: you can no longer reply to the conversation.
We have each deleted the conversation on our side, but we still cannot send messages to each other. We get the error message: message cannot be sent.
This is the only contact I’m experiencing this issue with.

    Is the app updated on both sides?

    Try on another PC/smartphone or try accessing the site https://www.messenger.com/

      Yes, the app is up to date on both sides. It was even uninstalled and then reinstalled. But it doesn't change anything.
      We even removed each other and then sent a friend request again. But no change.

      The problem is the same when I try on one PC or another phone.
      The error code that appears is #230.
