Olympus T G-850 black screen

Hello,

my Olympus TG 850 camera is showing a black screen.
I can take photos blindly and view them on my PC.
Does anyone have an explanation?
Is my camera ready for the trash?

      I imagine the problem is the LCD screen that is no longer working.
      I just had the same thing happen to me.
      I don't know if the problem is common, but it's quite annoying. I absolutely did nothing (except take a photo) and suddenly the screen went black!

      Hello, I had the same problem fixed under warranty. Today it has a black screen again and I will contact customer service. I think it is a defect inherent to this device. I want to note that I use it carefully. I really like this device, I am disappointed.

    How could we get an explanation: it's impossible to diagnose this kind of malfunction through a forum... Just take it to a repair service

    In case you haven't: have you checked the condition of the batteries?

      I think the battery works since it turns on and I can take pictures.
