Hello,

An error message "Write Protected" + an icon with a " !" appears on the screen of my Olympus PEN EPL1.

I don't know what manipulation to make to solve this problem!

Can someone help me please??

It's as if all my photos were protected (with the key icon)!

Thank you in advance!

Alexandre

Thank you very much for your reply!

I had also left a message on another forum and I received this response too.

It is indeed the solution to the problem! I had never seen that little latch! Thanks again!!!

      Hello,
I have the Olympus TOUGH and it's not working; I always get the same message... however, when I remove the SD card, the message no longer appears, but then the photos I take are saved to the camera's memory instead of the card.

Hello openyourdog, if your device uses an SD card, a small lock on the side of the card allows you to lock it for writing to prevent possible data loss during handling.

If that’s the case, simply move it in the opposite direction to unlock write access, and your device will be able to save photos to the card again.
