Dual monitor black screen Solved

Question

Hello,
I wanted to connect my computer to a second screen, so I clicked on "display on the second screen"
but it didn't work and now my computer screen is all black as if the image was connected to a second screen, but my TV is not receiving the image. Is there a keyboard shortcut to recover the main screen on the computer?

Hello,

Often if the second screen is not recognized, the settings revert to the main screen.

Otherwise, blind type Windows key + P, then press the up arrow three times (to go back to the "PC screen only" option) and then press Enter.

The proposed solution is good in the blind approach with the black screen.

However, if there is a PASSWORD, a complementary step must precede the intervention.

1) - turn off the computer and then turn it back on (I start from scratch); wait for the boot to finish.

2) - press the space bar so that the black screen prompts for the password.

3) - type your password and confirm (the computer becomes active).

4) - execute the step mentioned above:

press windows+p; then press the up arrow key 3 times Î; and confirm.
