Arrow on vector with Word 2007

Hello,

If you're looking to put vectors on lowercase letters, the best option is to use the vector font (the link is in my previous email).
For uppercase letters, I don't know of any specific font for vectors.

If the Equation command is grayed out, it means it's not installed. You need to go to the control panel => Programs, select Office 2007, then Modify, then Add => Add or remove components, and choose the Equation module.

Otherwise, there's the field solution that I explain in the link given above. To keep it simple, copy the following code and paste it into your document:
eq \o(\s\up 8(→);A)

Select everything and press Ctrl+F9, then Shift+F9, and you'll get an A with a vector. For another letter, select everything, then Shift+F9 and type the letter.

Just a quick note regarding the equation insertion:
1) You will need to go through Accentuation to find the vector
2) Once the equation is inserted, to have it in the text and not centered by itself, click on the equation's arrow (visible when you select it) and choose "Switch to Inline".

Otherwise, there are other solutions here, but the equation is a simple solution:

- for Raymond: when I want to select the equation option, this box is greyed out. In the explanation that appears, I am told to click on the office button but I don’t know where it is.
