Hello everyone,

I have a sound problem on my ASUS X555L computer (Windows 10), currently I have no audio devices installed, as you can see in the screenshots below:

I downloaded the sound drivers that correspond to this model of my PC from the ASUS website, but it still does not work, I even reset my PC and updated the system, I still do not have sound with this driver "Intel(R) Sound for Screens" in the device manager:

Can you please help me recover the sound? Because so far this problem has persisted for over 5 months.

Thank you very much in advance for your responses :)

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 67.0.3396.99

    Hello,

Go into the BIOS and check if the audio device is enabled.

I just installed it, but the same problem persists; however, in Device Manager, I cannot find the "audio, video, and game controller":

When I display the crashed devices, I have the audio, video, and game controller with several drivers as you can see in the screenshots:

Does this mean anything to you?

    Maybe update the BIOS?
The model number of the PC is incomplete:
    EX: X555LD, V555LJ, etc...
    Windows key + R
Type --> control panel and OK
    Look in system.

Yes, I forgot to specify the model of the PC, it's ASUS X555LD. While searching for the model number on my PC, I typed dxdiag in the small dialog box (win+R) and found this in the "Sound" tab: No sound card was found, if a card is present you need to install an audio device provided by the manufacturer...

Can this mean something? Is it a hardware problem?

The audio card may possibly be defective.
