What is ETDctrl used for? Can it be deleted?

Hello,

My PC is slow to start up, so I checked what it launches at startup and I removed some unnecessary things (Fitbit, Dropbox) and I have a program called ETDctrl.
I found online that it is "Elan Trackpad Device Control Center".
I never use the touchpad

Can I disable ETDctrl from the startup list, or even remove it?

Hello,

No, it shouldn't be deleted, even if you don't use it.
Anyway, that's not what will slow down the startup...
