Why install classic shell

Hello,
I just updated to Windows 10, and now, every time I want to search with Firefox, a popup asks me to install Classic Shell. Is it a safe software and what does it do? I didn’t need it before.

Hello,
Classic Shell is a safe program.
It gives a classic look to the Start menu, similar to that of Windows 7.
Among the advantages are immediate access to:
- Recent documents,
- Control Panel
- Devices and Printers.
You also have access to the Windows 10 Start menu.
It's not an essential software, but it can be appreciated.
However, what is totally abnormal is that you received a pop-up asking you to install it.
Especially since there is no connection with Firefox.
If you choose to install it, do so from the publisher's site:

I recommend running a scan of your system with MalwareByte.

Thank you very much for your reply. I already have a start menu identical to that of Windows 7, so that’s enough for me.
On another note, you advise me to perform a system scan with MalwareBytes, but my computer is equipped with ESET NOD 32 antivirus. Is there any conflict?
Finally, since I last updated, my computer's startup has been sluggish.
