Software for copying memory card

Hello everyone,
my problem is quite simple, I would like to make a full copy of an MSD card and it's not working,
I just bought the latest Garmin map, which is only provided on an MSD memory card. I thought I could just copy/paste everything from the MSD and put it back on the MSD that already contains maps for my GPS, but it doesn't work,
apparently you need the original card in the GPS,

I also use Win32Disk Imager, but it seems I'm missing something because the GPS doesn't recognize it either. I can't juggle with two MSD cards, considering the risks that it poses especially when hiking, with the risk of losing one or the other and the handling issues,
and I also need what is on the original MSD,

thank you if anyone has a solution.

    Hello,

If there is a solution, it is illegal.

Understand that Garmin is not stupid; otherwise, they would sell a single map that could be used to copy the entire earth...
The map is not an ordinary map..

Not necessarily, let's take the case of older generation Tomtom GPS devices; it is possible to copy the map but it will not work in any Tomtom other than the original one.

And there is nothing illegal about making a personal copy as long as the original is in one's possession.

Yes, I made a copy "just in case," but even that copy doesn't work, which means if the original MSD fails, I've lost everything...
What could make the card "unusual"?
They must have added a DRM system like for music.
But it's a bit silly because before, certain cards were linked to a single GPS that had to be registered on their site at the time of purchase, and then, yes, it was locked to one GPS, but with this version, I can use it in all possible GPS devices, so it's almost the same as making copies, but I can't use it with other cards, and I don't want to put my other files back on the Garmin card; I don't know what might happen next.
