Convert CPI to MP4

Question

Hello,
I recently imported videos from my Lumix FZ200 to my computer. The problem is that I can't play these videos because they are in CPI format. I researched on forums and learned that I need to download a CPI to MP4 converter. However, with all the applications I've tried, none displayed my videos. That is, I had my videos on my desktop, but when I went to the converter to import a video and convert it, it didn't show up. Any solutions? Other applications?

I have a Lumix too. I don't know if you have solved your problem since then... but here's how you will read your videos. There is a folder with a path that should look like this F:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM on your SD card.

In fact, the cpi contains information about your .MTS videos; it is the mts files that need to be converted to mp4. Usually from a Sony device!
