Normally, it should at least give you a message like "no bootable device found".

Are you able to access the BIOS/UEFI options? Usually, it's done with the F1, F12, or DEL keys on the keyboard; it should be indicated. It seems to indicate the ESC key for you.

Maybe your hard drive is having an issue (due to a fall?). If that's the case, you should still be able to boot from a CD/DVD installation or a USB drive containing an operating system.
