Hello everyone,

Since yesterday, when I try to connect to Discord, my Google Chrome page turns into the unfortunately famous "aie aie aie" page and I can't connect to Discord at all :'/

I've already: restarted, refreshed, cleared my cache and cookies, removed extensions (there weren't any, by the way), restored my system to a date prior to the emergence of this problem, reinstalled Discord, both the browser version and the desktop version, reinstalled Chrome several times as well, and nothing works :'/

If anyone has an idea that isn't listed here, it would be more than welcome :)

Hello,

Download and install --> Revo Uninstaller
Run it as an administrator
Uninstall Google Chrome, remove everything.
Follow the tutorial carefully to completely uninstall, including residual folders and keys.
Restart the PC.

Go delete the Google folder in these 2 directories:
Windows key + E
--> C:\users\your username\AppData\Local
--> C:\Programs and/or Program Files (x86)

Delete the Google Chrome shortcuts on the desktop.

Reinstall the desired version:
--> Google Chrome 64 bits
--> Google Chrome 32 bits

  it works with firefox, but the connection is dreadful,
  the problem definitely comes from chrome

  I have reinstalled it 15 times, I have cleaned my PC inside and out with all possible software, I have deleted everything that could be lingering from Chrome on my PC, I honestly don't understand anymore :'/

  Have you checked with AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes if there was an infection, such as potentially unwanted programs, adware, etc...?

  I'm using Avira and even with real-time protection disabled, it still doesn't work.

  I even removed it from my PC and replaced it with Avast; it didn't work either, so I reinstalled it.
