Hello, ;-) I no longer receive the Multiplex R4, I am served by the transmitter of MAYET (72)
What can I do?
What is the frequency of R4 to try the manual search?

    Hello,
It turns out that the R4 multiplex is broadcasted by the Mayet transmitter on channel 59, a high-frequency channel and therefore more difficult to receive with some antennas, especially older ones that were not designed for this frequency. It only takes a few other factors adversely affecting reception to cause the signal to drop:
Start by checking the coaxial connections, unplugging and re-plugging them several times to eliminate oxidation; if necessary, redo them properly, and be careful, the slightest "hair" from the braid touching the copper core can mess things up...
HD TNT is more demanding in terms of both quantity and quality of signal.
If you're still not getting results, the best option would be to install an adjustable line preamplifier (sometimes too much amplification can degrade the signal); this preamplifier should be LTE/4G filtered.
Here is a good product, for example:

Hello and thank you for your response, indeed, I am going to check the coaxial connections but what surprises me is that I receive all the other channels perfectly... Because my DTT antenna is NEW.

Otherwise, I've seen ads for sort of USB sticks that would allow you to receive all the channels for free...
      Is it a FAKE?

Fake and definitely a big scam.
As for the R4, what's happening with your neighbors?

I admit that, having few neighbors, I haven't had the opportunity to ask...

Don't worry, I understood... and as a last resort, the adjustable preamp that I gave you the link to.

I had already tried an amplifier but the same!

Does your TV have the capability to display signal strength and quality bar graphs?

      Yes, it’s a Thomson 101cm.

And what does that give, because here's what happened to me: progressive loss of R1, quantity 100%, quality at a minimum... I went up on the roof and removed a TV/FM coupler, worse! quality 0
But I realized when unplugging the antenna that there was a fleeting image... and a stable image while keeping the plug "almost" plugged in. Then I remembered having removed a splitter for the living room + bedroom that I didn't need, and since I removed it => too much signal
I went back up on the roof and decreased the amplifier by a third, the quality went back up to 100%, no more problems
Hence my advice for a filtered 4G/LTE pre-amplifier that is adjustable.

    Good evening
I know to display the frequency [...]
it's not working, I can only enter 778.11 but it doesn't display anything

The frequency to display is 778166 do not put a comma....

Not having the same television model makes it difficult to imagine the problem.
On Samsung, you can modify the frequency (without a comma), or the channel number.
On the Thomson 40FS3013, the manual on page 8 (9 of the pdf below) only mentions frequency.
You write that you can only enter 5 digits while the setting requires 6, so I thought that the comma was unnecessary.
      The manual: https://fc.darty.com/notices/DOCUMENTATION/2017/34/4271424_NOTCOMP.pdf

Indeed, since Andy31200 talks about a "very fine adjustment" required for R4.
Previously, the manual adjustment, as it was, worked, even with only 778 and the 5 channels appeared, but now, NOTHING!

      One more time:
Make the effort to ask a neighbor if the issue is the same.
      And also:
"Channel 59 on 778.166 MHz is sometimes disturbed by LTE 4G."
If you have a mobile phone relay between your antenna and the transmitter, it might be messing things up, try to install an LTE/4G rejection filter as close to the antenna as possible:

For the R4, the transmitter characteristics of Mayet indeed only give 778 MHz

For all practical purposes, in case of proven disruption, you can benefit from a free intervention.
So if your neighbors are in the same predicament, don't hesitate
Copy of a notice from ANFR

I already explained to "Andy31200" that the ANFR, to whom I have already asked to send me the corresponding document,
But we need to have it validated by an antenna technician, cost about €100...???

I just asked a neighbor, but he uses the Orange Box, so he can't give me any information.
