Delete SIM contacts

Hello,

I just bought a Crosscall smartphone. I really don't like the SIM contacts list. You can't attach a photo of the person, you can't save both the mobile number and the landline number of a person without creating duplicates in the directory. With the contacts stored in the phone's memory, I have my contacts tripled!

I only want to keep my contacts in the phone. It's impossible to delete the contacts from the SIM! When I restart my phone, they systematically reappear despite the deletion operation in "edit."

Even when in Contacts/Contacts to display, I select only the ones from the phone, once I go into the phonebook, the SIM contacts are still visible as duplicates.

I am pulling my hair out. I should never have copied my contacts to the SIM...

What should I do? Thanks.

Hi,

If you are sure that all your contacts are properly in your Google account, use the Contact2Sim app to completely format the SIM card.

Justly, no. My contacts are not in my Google account, by choice. Instead, they are "saved" on paper, like in the old days.

You're a bit vague.. either you have your contacts on your SIM card and there you can only store names and phone numbers, or you save them to the internal memory.. if you have them saved in both places, then open your contacts app, then tap the (3 points) settings/menu and choose to display contacts only from the phone.

Yes, I added it to both, and as explained to Xylon below:
"I did this adjustment that works. In "Contacts to display," I only selected Phone contacts and I no longer have duplicates. But it's not "Contacts" that I use when I make a call; I click on the "Phone" icon and there, the duplicates are still present."
