How Maps Me Works

Hello,
I installed Maps Me on a Wiko Lenny 3 smartphone. The map appears well, but I don't have geolocation.
I have read that it is possible to have it without the internet.
What should I do?

    You need to enable geolocation in the settings.

    To activate geolocation, I had 2 options.
    Either go through Google or use GPS satellite. I chose the latter solution because I think the other one uses the internet.
    Geolocation works perfectly, but I would like to know if it is completely free, as I only have 50 MB in my plan and I don't want to "go broke."

      GPS geolocation is free;
      However, to avoid using internet traffic, you need to download the Map-Me maps over Wi-Fi at home and turn off Wi-Fi when using Maps-Me to prevent unplanned map downloads.
      Be careful, as the maps take up quite a bit of space; put them on the SD card; it doesn't cause any particular issues.
