Hello,
I have only one HDMI port on my television to connect the box and a Blu-ray DVD player. I bought a Temium HDMI splitter with 3 inputs. The DVD player works well, but the TV screen (after switching the selector) remains black, with no image and no sound when switching to the box? Can anyone provide me with information?
Thank you
P.S.: The splitter has been tested, it works, and the box has received its updates from Bouygues today!

To avoid any issues, you need an HDMI switch, not a splitter.
How to recognize an HDMI switch? Well, it's very simple.
It comes with a remote control and a power supply.
A splitter is inert; it's just a box with a manual selector.
It must be at a MINIMUM compatible with:
HDCP 1.2
Full HD 1080p resolution
HDMI high speed 1.4 standard
And recognize the following audio formats:
LPCM
Dolby
AC3
DTS
DSD
This is a minimum; all these standards and recommendations date back at least a decade.
Of course, if you have 4K or a higher image definition than 1080P, you will need to buy the switch accordingly.
And all of this comes at a cost.
There you go, good luck,
Sincerely. -
