Hello, I have a PS4 Slim (HDMI output) and a screen with a VGA port..! I've browsed a bit on forums and saw that I needed to buy an HDMI/VGA adapter (converter)! I bought an adapter on Amazon.. it arrived and when I connect everything, the screen says "No Signal"..! I would really appreciate some help please, thank you! (sorry for my spelling.. I’m from Réunion)

It works for me: with this module 8 EUR.

first failed attempt; procedure: PS4 console on usual HDMI TV, go into safe mode (turn on by holding the button for 7 seconds until the beep), set display resolution to 720. We unplug. Then we switch to the monitor through the adapter whose USB is powered from one of the console's ports... "out of range" indicated on the monitor. Damn.
second attempt (successful); same procedure but we think: first power the adapter with a phone charger (not from the console output) / switch to 480 resolution with the TV. We make both changes. Power on the monitor. It works but the image is a bit blurry. We let the console load. We still try in the console settings to switch to 720. And then the image is nice and clear and accepted by the monitor!?
So I don't know if it's the external power that does it or if it's the switch to 480 resolution. To be tested...
