Hello

Actually, there isn't really one on this model.

Try Fn+F11 or CTRL+Fn+F11

If not, you can use the virtual keyboard, type OSK in the startup menu then hit enter, there you'll find a pause key.

What do you call the "pause" button?  -- Because the instructions don't tell you everything... But not nothing either, right!

On my Logitech keyboard, on my Asus keyboard, and on several others, there is a "Pause/Attn" key (I suppose "Attn" means "attention"...?). On my Dell keyboard, I don't see it. However, this key is quite useful for playing a game (I enjoy playing AOE for example). And it turns out that I had to install AOE 2 on my Dell laptop. You can play without it, of course, but it's quite a feat! I just bought a new ASUS CPU on which I can't play AOE 2 (even though I can install it), and it's frustrating. So I installed AOE 2 on my Dell laptop, and that's when I realized that this key didn't seem to exist: no key is labeled "Pause/Attn".

There you go...

I don't have a photo, but if you type "Dell Inspiron 1750" into Google Images, there are several pictures.

That said, thanks to you, I've already made some progress because by trying your idea of Fn + something, I managed to get "pause" by pressing Fn + F3. But given the distance between the two keys, it's quite a workout: hello cramps after a while...

Is there another way to bypass the difficulty? For example, is it possible to connect another keyboard with a "pause" key to my Dell laptop? (By the way, I will try).

Unfortunately, it is impossible to keep both the virtual keyboard and the game AOE on the screen at the same time. But since I have another keyboard with a "pause" key, I connect it to the laptop via USB and that's it! Well, it's not very comfortable, but it's still more practical and efficient than pressing the Fn and F3 keys at the same time, which are on opposite sides of each other.

I don't know what the "eject" button is for (to eject a DVD I suppose...) but it definitely doesn't function as "pause," I'm sure of it, I've tried all the buttons... !)
