Good evening everyone,
I recently bought the first TV for the house (Samsung UE40j6200), and I rushed to get the Freebox Player that was gathering dust in the basement.
I connected it using the Freeplug (CPL) and linked the Freebox Player to my TV via HDMI. After synchronizing the Freeplug with the one connected to the Freebox server plugged into the ADSL line, I turned on the decoder and was able to access the menu. I naturally scanned for channels, and oh misery! 0 channels found...
So here’s my question: can I access TNT channels with these connections? Do I need to connect to the wall antenna socket? Do I also need to connect my decoder to my TV using a TNT cable? Will I have access to HD channels?

I hope I was clear enough; I usually handle this kind of problem quite well, but this is my first TV and I admit that I'm not at all aware of the possibilities.
Thank you for your responses!

" so I hurried to get the freebox player that had been gathering dust in the basement. "
If this box allows you to receive TV, how old is it?
Have you tried connecting a coaxial cable directly between the wall socket and the TV's antenna input??

It's a Freebox Revolution, it's new. And I can't connect a coaxial cable, the socket is way too far away...

Is this correct? :

Your bandwidth is probably insufficient for HD, so try in SD as suggested by poupougne
For the coaxial, try using a quality extension.
