Formula for number of lines in a cell

Hello,

I would like to count the number of lines in a cell (characterized by the number of line breaks i.e. ALT Enter)

Let me explain, my cell is the following:

04/10/2016
27/10/2016
21/11/2016
21/12/2016
28/12/2016
12/01/2017

the formula should return the number 6.
Is this possible?

    Hello

    this formula for a list in B10 to be adapted
    =LEN(B10)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(B10,CHAR(10),""))

    but in your example, if there is no return at the end of the list, it will return 5 (intervals) and not 6
