Hello, since the High Sierra update, MP Navigator EX 3.0 "has quit unexpectedly." My printer is a Canon MP560. Thank you.

Under High Sierra, you need to download MP Navigator Ex from the English site of Canon, which is canon.uk. Do not do it on canon.fr or canon.be because the software will not open. However, although downloaded from canon.uk, it works perfectly and even in French.

Hello,
I have the same issue. I am using MP Navigator 3.04 which works perfectly under Sierra, but it "quits unexpectedly" under High Sierra.
I've tried everything, but I haven't been able to get it to work under High Sierra. I keep reporting it to Apple. No results so far. To use my scanner (Canon MP810 printer), I start my Mac using a version prior to High Sierra from an external disk. Or I use the demo version of VueScan:
https://www.hamrick.com
On this point, I regret switching to High Sierra.
Have a nice day.

Hello, I also regret having High Sierra. To scan, I go through "Preview", click "File", click "Import from MP 560", open the scanner and scan. Have a good day.

On my side, I can't even use Preview with my MP810. The import options from the scanner are grayed out... :(

Hello,
I contacted Canon about this, and Canon confirmed that MP Navigator is indeed not compatible with High Sierra and will not be updated.
I also reported the issue to Apple, but received no response.
In the end, since some features remain useful in High Sierra, I ended up reinstalling High Sierra and decided to use Vue Scan in its basic version for basic scans. If I need to scan slides, I restart my Mac under an older version of OS X, as the Pro version of VueScan is far too expensive for me. VueScan is a great software, but pricey :(
Moreover, for printing, the free Gutenprint is better than Canon's original driver.
Best regards. -
Thank you, Meneke 1945, I am currently away from home, I will try your suggestion once I return from vacation and I will be sure to inform you. Thanks again. Garant.

Under High Sierra, you need to download MP Navigator Ex from Canon's UK site, which is canon.uk. Do not do it on canon.fr or canon.be because the software will not open. However, even though it was downloaded from canon.uk, it works perfectly and even in French.
Good evening,
on my side, I had already tested the drivers from the UK and US sites, and unfortunately always without success. I just tried those sites again, and sadly, still without success. The downloaded version is the same everywhere, 3.04, whether it's from the UK, US, or French site...
If you have a link for a version that works, I am ready to test one more time ;-))
Best regards.

Hello, I tried on the UK site, but it says the driver does not work on High Sierra, and I couldn't find it on the USA site. How did you do it?
