Hello,

I have a Word document containing several hundred internet links.
And when I try to open these links, I get the following error message:

"object not found on this site http 1.0 404"

I should mention that I am on a fixed IP.

These links work perfectly in OpenOffice, but I need to be able to work on this document in Word.

Help me please!

Configuration: Windows / Edge 16.16299

The links work in Open Office, but I don't understand why they no longer work in Office 2016?

    re

Since you have all the URLs in one file with Open Office, delete the Office file

Then, copy and paste the URLs from the Open Office file to Word

Try to see if it works

PS: In Word, make sure the URLs are in blue (activated)

      Hello,
I tried to copy the links to a new Word page but it doesn't work.

I also tried to retrieve the links from the network but that doesn't work either!

Do you have any other ideas, please?

      Thank you,

      Good evening billmax,

I have already seen this topic.
I still haven't found an explanation.

I would like to reiterate that I have a fixed IP. Could that be related to my problem?

      Thank you,

    Hello,

I take this opportunity to follow up on the subject....

And also to let you know that I have tested with automatic IP and the problem remains the same. Being on a fixed IP does not seem to be the cause of the blockage.

Is there a kind soul to help me....

    Thank you,

NO! You can clearly see that no one here has the solution...
But we are just simple users like you.
You need to contact a professional, so get in touch with an office consultant.

You have already lost a month!
