Hello, before using my Asus laptop, I just turned on the computer and after looking at the manual, I saw that it needed to be charged for 3 hours before the first use, so I was wondering if this would affect the functioning of the battery or the computer. Thank you.

    Good evening

    No worries for the PC...

If you were plugged in, the battery hasn't been used... if you weren't connected, the battery is protected against too low a charge.

Generally, when buying equipment, it is recommended to read the manual BEFORE using it and to start using it AFTER!
This also applies to microwaves, dishwashers, camcorders, drones, etc.

Now that the damage is done, you just have to plug it in for the indicated 3 hours and then start working on the machine. In any case, the seller is not going to take it back...

I turned it on and then plugged it in, and that's when I realized, and I turned it off
And thank you for responding quickly.
