Hello,
The battery of my laptop is no longer charging.
The power adapter is new and the battery is in good condition; the problem comes from the motherboard.
My question is whether it is possible to charge a laptop battery without going through the laptop?
Are there any cables or boxes that would allow this?

Hello,
I have the same problem; when I plug the charger into the Compaq, nothing happens except for a burnt smell from the PC.
With the battery, the PC was functioning; but of course, after all this time, it is discharged.
I would also like to recharge it without using the PC.

Hello, I have exactly the same issue as coicoi on an Asus A6M. For me, the last chance is to retrieve the technical specifications in order to know which connectors to use. After that, all it takes is a stabilized power supply with sufficient power, and it's done. But it's not easy to know these details with their made-in-Taiwan batteries. Good luck.
