I am also a victim of this problem and a SFR customer as well.
I am keeping an eye on this post hoping that a clue will be given.
Has anyone managed to get any information from SFR? Apart from reiterating that it comes from my PC, they don’t want to hear anything.

Hello,
I'm experiencing the same issue with slow loading or failure to display internet pages on my new Win10 PC, but not with my Android devices or Vista PC.
Is it a network card problem? No, it’s the same with a USB Wi-Fi adapter.
Noticing a DNS address resolution issue, I modified the network card properties from automatic DNS resolution to using the following DNS addresses: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google)
Well, now there are no more problems.

Hi,
I had the same problem with the Wi-Fi icon not signaling anything, internet access for a few minutes and then nothing, the same Windows diagnostic even though I just bought a new computer.
I looked up some solutions, there was a guy explaining how to change the DNS server. But while digging a bit with his explanations, I found the magic button for my case.
Actually, there’s a box that allows my computer to turn off my network to save battery. Since I unchecked that box, no issues, internet is responsive and stable.
If by chance you want to dig around there, go to the control panel > "network and internet" > "network connection" or "network and sharing center" accessible by right-clicking on the Wi-Fi icon, you should get there one way or another.
Then go to "change adapter settings" (that's what's displayed for me, maybe you have a different wording, I can't say)
when I get to that point, I find my Wi-Fi icon > right-click > "properties" > "power management" > and there you will find your little box ^^
I'm not saying it's the solution to your problem, but since it seems similar to mine, I’m still allowing myself to give you a lead. Good luck.

This solution is fairly well-known and provided on the following page: https://www.malekal.com/resoudre-les-deconnexions-wifi/

Hello everyone, I sincerely think this is due to the WIFI network. I'm just like you, I have the same problem and my computer is new (it's been a week).
I have an SFR Box, and I'm sure that if I call customer service, they will do everything to say that it's my computer that's misconfigured or make me restart the box (which I've done 4 times today). Or that my SPL boxes are not SFR, so it's the boxes' fault!!! What a bunch of clowns (to stay polite)
All this while following what's shown on their computer screen!!
I'm being patient, waiting to change providers or get fiber!!

Hello, I'm having the same problem. I just subscribed to Red by SFR. Big mistake!!!
Already, we can't connect the TV decoder and the nb6v2 box via Wi-Fi, plus there's a loss of connection even though my computer is well connected.
I found a "possible" solution that seems to work, but for how long?

If it can help
Solution from hachemcress, thanks to him.

Hello everyone,
The problem with SFR is that, apart from hiring incompetent people, they are asked to read the technical sheets that are on their computers!! The same issues arise multiple times, with different people, but the same response!!
“Sir, you need to restart your Box, etc......”
I’m waiting for summer to end and I’m switching providers!! After all, as the saying goes, “you never know what you’ll get elsewhere,” but it might be better!!
But I’ve had enough of being in the next room to the box, having to unplug and replug it, and having a connection as if I were 100 meters away!!! Meanwhile, my wife has no issues and my computer is brand new!!!
I’m looking at the offers from different competitors: network, customer service, etc...

Hi,
Personally, I've had Orange for over 10 years and I'm satisfied with it.
Aside from in 2003 (to the best of my memory), there were DNS or authentication issues that lasted a few hours.
Only two outages of a few days due to bad handling of the telephone cabinet in the building or on the street.
I also know someone who has Free and it works well overall... However, the speed with Netflix seems very poor.
I think it also depends if you are in the countryside/big city.
Regarding SFR and based on the topic, I have the feeling that the problem is with the box.

Good evening, the problem definitely comes from the ISP. I asked to change the modem to switch to a completely different model. Since its installation, I haven’t noticed any more connection drops on the PC in question.
Request your internet provider to simply change the modem for a newer model. Good luck to those for whom the problem persists.
(For SFR, the issue seems to come from the NB6 modem, avoid this one)

I switched to another model, the Box Plus. Compatible with the equipment I had, NB4 and NB6V*.
I just had to request the most recent/performance box compatible with my subscription (Box Power+) from the SFR customer or sales service (I don't remember which one I called).
Try both in case of failure, they are very annoying.

Ah OK,
this one....
So it works well, but it's more expensive :-(
So it would be difficult to obtain?

I had the same issue with a wired connection, a W10, and an SFR 4K box.
I went into the Windows Defender Security Center and turned off the firewall, and everything works wonderfully.
I suppose that part of the connection code of the SFR boxes is interpreted as an attack by the Windows firewall.
Test it and let me know if it solves your problem.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I don't see any difference. I'll leave it disabled for a few days to see how it goes in the long run.
I've never seen a wifi bug like this. The more possibilities we eliminate, the less we can figure things out.
I really think it's a compatibility issue, but at what level...
