Hello,
I posted a video yesterday around 4:30 PM and the view count has been stuck at 104 views, knowing that my videos usually get between 500 and 1500 views. Can someone help me? Thanks
Here’s the link to my video

    Hello,

From experience, I am now convinced that YouTube happily manipulates its counters.
Some algorithms slow down or even stop the counting for a more or less long period.
I compared the view counts by sharing a YouTube link on Facebook (in unlisted mode to ensure that views would come ONLY from Facebook) and a little later, I did the same kind of video directly embedded on my Facebook wall (so not going through YouTube).
After 24 hours, my YouTube video had 1,520 views, while the video posted on Facebook had over 15,000 views in the same time frame!
For me, there is no doubt about it.
YouTube, which monetizes views, is cheating outrageously.
Facebook, which does not monetize views, seems completely realistic.

There is no traffic of views or anything like that at all... Facebook simply automatically plays videos when someone scrolls through the page and counts a view from the first second. YouTube requires a longer view to count it as a view.
