Blue arrows on all my photos

Yesterday I transferred all the photos stored on my SAMSUNG GALAXY A5 2016 to my laptop - Everything seemed to go smoothly but, catastrophe, all my JPG photos appear with two blue arrows on the top right, facing each other, and no software seems to be able to open these photos,,,
I searched the internet and I’m being told about compressed photos???
What can I do to remove these two arrows that also appear on some desktop icons, and especially to open and recover all my photos - Thank you so much for your help because I’m panicking!

What procedure was used to transfer the photos?
Are the photos still on the smartphone?
Is it possible to have a screenshot? I don't see what you mean regarding the blue arrows. -
