How to create a line break in a SmartArt graphic

Hello,
When you insert a Smart Art graphic in PowerPoint, a text window opens. In this window, you can type your text. It is then preceded by a bullet point. When you want to go to the next line, you press "enter," and a new bullet point appears on the line below. I would like to know how to go to a new line without having this bullet point appear, or how to remove the bullet point afterwards.
For your information, I am using PowerPoint 2016.

You press [Shift+Enter] to make a line break instead of a paragraph break
