Samsung S3 Mini Software Update Android 4.1.2

Hello,
If we launch a software update, will we lose all the content on the mobile? SMS, MMS, calendar, memos, images, photos...

    Hello,

    You won't lose anything if everything has been synchronized to your Google account.

    Nothing stops you from using a third-party app to back up yourself.

    However, for personal photos and videos, make sure they are properly synchronized to Google Photos

      Thank you Papounet. How do we sync everything to my Google account? And how does Google Photos work?
      I only use Gmail and I don't know how to use the other Google apps. By the way, I lost a Messenger account without Facebook like that because Messenger claimed to save to Google Drive, but when I went to that Drive, there was absolutely nothing.

    I just saw an old article on this forum that partially answers: don't update because higher versions are full of bugs.

    "Galaxy S3 owners will still have to make do with Android 4.1.2.

        If you really have an S3 MINI, what you are saying does not exist in an official version from Samsung. The latest update is 4.1.2.

        Not nice, Xylon, to doubt! I know what mobile I have. I noted my version 4.1.2 and not 4.1!!!
        And this message from Samsung about 4.3 and 4.4 indeed exists; I didn't say it concerns the S3 Mini!
