Hello,

I have a Nokia 3310 mobile from the 2000s that I would like to sell, but I don't know how to "unlock" it or reset it to factory settings (for example, erase all the messages from the phone's memory).

Moreover, can we still find original batteries for this model?

Could you help me?

Thank you

Hello,

1) To reset to factory settings, you type *#7780#
2) You can find an inexpensive battery here: https://www.fnac.com/mp25239880/Batterie-Li-Ion-pour-NOKIA-3310-3330-3410-3510-3510i-5510-6650-6800-6810-etc-remplace-les-batteries-Nokia-BLC-2-US804533A1T4/w-4

Best regards

Second operation to follow for the reset (if the first one does not work):

Menu -> Settings -> Reset to factory settings.
Then, please enter your security code.
  • The default code is: 12345

Then, your device will reset and restart.
Success!

A big thank you! I'll give it a try... :)
As for the "IMAE" code, is it not necessary? (I had read that while doing research before coming to this forum)

Sorry, but I am a complete novice in these areas... :/

"Re" Hello,

When I turn on my Nokia, I get the message "insert SIM card" and I can't access the menu.. :(
Do I have to insert one? Since I have Free now, it will be rejected....
As for the "code," when I enter it, it doesn't change anything at all...

It seemed so simple reading you....

Thank you in advance...

So you need to call Free (3244) in order to carry out a procedure called unlocking to unlock your device so that it accepts all SIM cards,

kind regards

After that, we should also check what the original operator was, programmed with the device.
