Hello, so there's a pair of shoes I would like to buy that is only available on American sites. I found a site that looks pretty good and well-known called: Nordstrom. I contacted them to see if it was possible to buy from France, and the answer is yes. I would like to know if you have ever purchased from this site?
Aside from that, I'm a bit hesitant to get them since I have €60 in shipping and taxes. Shipping: €32.90 and tax: €27.32. Considering the pair costs €112, ending up with €172 to pay feels like a lot. So what do you think? Thank you and have a good day.

    I don't know this site.. Just a comment on the 'taxes'..

    Total 'shoes + shipping': 112 +32.90 = 144.90 €

    VAT at 20% on this 'base':

    0.2 x 144.90 = 28.98 €

    TOTAL: 173.88 €. If, and only if shipped by USPS.

    Be careful! If another carrier makes the trip, you need to add their 'freight fees' (15 to 20€ depending).

    That adds up!

    But when you love something, you don't count!

    Keep in mind that if there's a problem, you'll have to send the shoes back at a high price and pay the VAT again on return (if there is a return..)..

    In case of dispute, you'll have to go to the Mediator in the State of Washington (West Coast..).. (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services)

    I don't know this "well-known" site any better, but I think Afrikarnak has said the main things that can be said in such a case...
    A big risk to take, and maybe the shoes won't be the same as in the photo?

    Hey, did you order and receive your shoes then? We just bought some and there were no shipping fees or taxes, which I found strange afterwards ????????
