Hello,

I have been facing 2 different scams since this morning.

1- While searching for a TV series on various streaming sites, the following window appears systematically:

"The content cannot be played.
It seems that you are not logged into your account.
If this is your first time here, please sign up."

I am then asked for an email address and password, and especially my credit card details including the expiration date and the 3 digits of the visual cryptogram written on the back, assuring me that the site is completely free and that no amount will be charged to my account! (Sure...)

2- Additionally, another window pops up and an audio message informs me that my computer is infected and that I need to call a number for assistance. (Sure again...)

The problem is that since then I no longer have access to streaming.

What should I do?
Thank you for your responses.

Don't pay attention to the little window that invites you to sign up. It's a scam. They'll ask you for your credit card, which is suspicious for a supposedly free site.

Click on the enlarge icon to enlarge the image you see behind this window. The icon will disappear and you will be able to continue watching movies in streaming.

I don't understand why you give your bank details so easily since it's free. You choose your movie, click on play, close the window that opens, click on play again, and after two or three times maximum, you should be able to watch the movie, but never sign up and especially never give your credit card. The movie can be watched without any payment or even registration. Never trust and give your credit card, please.
