Hello, does anyone know what this exactly means under Windows 10?

I have this message related to several devices, including a DAC (which works perfectly fine) and an old laser printer (which won't print even though it works very well with another computer also running Windows 10).

Well, there has just been a Windows update, and the printer is working!

However, now the majority of devices are marked "Incomplete configuration due to a limited connection"
-the mouse, the printer, a monitor, a TV connected via HDMI, a DAC

If someone can explain to me what that means! (that was the subject of my question here), they are welcome :)

You need to check your USB drivers; you can use Driver Booster just for the USB drivers, not for the sound, you should avoid that. After, try it; you can uninstall it afterwards!

Possible you have USB 2 or USB 3 and you have a USB 1 or 2 driver that is too slow.

Thank you, I recently updated the motherboard drivers from the manufacturer's website (Gigabyte)

All the ports are USB 3 or 3.1 except for one that is USB 2

In fact, now all the devices are showing Incomplete configuration due to a limited connection ^^
