Hello,
I'm looking for software to transform a drawing into a bead ironing pattern.
I need to have the option to manage the number of output colors (limited number of colors for Hama beads).
Do you know of any software that can do that?
Here is the style of "pattern" I wish to obtain: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/98/93/87/989387340a9325a74ac2e0b4a048e7c5.jpg
Thank you in advance for the responses you will provide...
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 54.0

Image editing software must be able to do this (Gimp).. We convert an image to indexed colors where we fix the number of colors between 16 and 256, for example.
But it won't decompose the colors; it just converts the areas of an image into predefined fixed colors..
In your case, it seems that you need to create a grid... So perhaps with a drawing software (Inkscape).. You create a grid and fill the squares with the "dynamic fill" tool using the colors from a palette that you will have defined beforehand...
