How to use an external DVD burner

Hello, I just bought a Samsung SE-208 portable DVD burner. There is no user manual (nor on the Samsung website).
I followed the installation instructions for the disc, downloaded Nero, but then ?? How do I burn files stored on Windows Media Player or VLC media player?
I am a beginner = please explain the procedure in detail!

    Hello...

    In principle, you just need to right-click on the files to copy, then "copy"... then, right-click on your burner and "paste"... give it a try!
