Very slow toshiba laptop

Hello,

I’m reaching out because for about a week now, my Toshiba laptop (3 years old) has been very slow. This is true for both Windows menus, photos, etc., and on the internet. I have a speed test showing 0.40 Mbps even though my line is 100 Mbps and there are no issues on the iPhones.

Since the last major Windows update, it has gotten even worse.

The antivirus and Malwarebytes scans don’t detect anything...

Any ideas for getting my laptop back to its former glory?

    What version of Windows do you have..?

    Have you moved to a vacation spot..?

    Did you run your Speedtest.net connected via Wi-Fi..??

    Do it on an Ethernet cable... Let's see the difference..?

    A screenshot or the Speedtest link would be preferable and with more information..

    What does the same SpeedTest show on your iPhone..?

    You shouldn't assume that you have a 100Mbps speed just because your line is a 100Mbps.
