Hello, I have a thunder bug stuck on my screen, and it doesn't move at all. I would like to know how to remove it, or if it will eventually fall off by itself. Thank you for responding.
The problem I have is that my computer is a Mac from Apple, and I can't take the screen apart to remove the beast of a storm; I don't know how to do it.
Well, I have a friend who took apart his Mac and there are magnets hidden on the edges, which makes it very complicated to do. Otherwise, he could check with a repair shop, but the quotes from Apple are exorbitant, so he did it himself. He was offered a quote of 200 euros...
if the Mac is an iMac, and if this iMac is not one of the very latest models, meaning a model with a screen held by magnets*, all you need is one, or better yet, two simple suction cups like the ones used as hooks, to place these suction cups in the upper corners of the screen and pull towards you. It takes 2 seconds and is extremely easy to do. You can also do it with a single suction cup, but there is less risk of breakage with one suction cup on each side.
