How to disable "direct call" on a Gigaset C620A phone

Hello,
I made the mistake of activating direct dial on my C620A phone, and no matter what I do, it calls the designated number.
I have tried pressing the * key for a long time as indicated, but it doesn't work, and the number is called every time.
Whatever buttons or keys I press, the number for that direct call is dialed.
Do you have a solution for my problem, please?

Hello,
I pressed the * key for a long time
The manual on page 20 (22 of the PDF below) does not say to press the * key, but to select with the navigation key the icon representing a finger pressing on a sun that appears on the screen and then choose to disable or enable
