Hello everyone, I installed the software (program because no installation needed!) RESTORATION, previously I was using PC Inspector File Recovery (is it better?). To try it out, I recovered a file: no problem, it works great! So I scanned an entire drive and saw that there were a lot of files I thought I had deleted with the "eraser" software! I then took the "others" option and wanted to delete them, it was quite lengthy, and when I got the message at the end: "Do you want to overwrite the deleted files..." I said no, was that a mistake?? Because when I restarted the scan, I found all my files!!! I searched in vain for a tutorial on the web but found nothing, does anyone know more about this software, thanks!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.6

cayé! I restarted the operation, so here's a summary:
scan a disk, choose the "others" option to delete all files, and when it reaches 100%, answer yes to the "replace folders" function, and when you scan the same disk again, there are no files left to restore! This software is apparently more powerful at completely eliminating all traces kept on a hard drive, and it obviously also allows you to recover files accidentally deleted.
